Today, when war has come to our country, we are changing our priorities so that peace can come to our state as soon as possible!
Now we have a task – to support morally and financially the women who have suffered the most from the actions of the Russian occupiers. That is why the Assisto project was launched in August 2022. From a small idea to help Ukrainians who have suffered from the war, we are implementing systemic mechanisms, implementing a policy of “comprehensive care”.
material support for women with cancer and women with chronic diseases;
identification, primary care, psychological rehabilitation, psychological support and resocialization of victims of sexual violence;
primary care, psychological rehabilitation, psychological support and resocialization of mothers whose children have been subjected to sexual violence;
organization of trainings for professional retraining of vulnerable women in specialties that are in demand on the Ukrainian labor market.
assistance to centers and organizations working on similar projects;
providing assistance in providing medical equipment, technology, medicines, medical products and supplies, and food to our defenders;
providing humanitarian assistance to temporarily displaced persons and persons located in formerly occupied and liberated territories, as well as in temporarily occupied territories.
In the already distant year of 2016, our family faced a terrible challenge – an incurable (orphan) disease. Yuri Andreev was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia – a condition in which a person’s bone marrow stops producing a sufficient number of blood cells. Critically low indicators, lack of medication and, most importantly, financial opportunities. This was our reality.
In a short time, we were able to raise money and, more importantly, find the drug that was necessary to start treatment. The disease was put into remission.
We learned to live with this disease. Although, it never lets us forget about it. But we only tune in to the positive.
After everything that happened to us, we realized that today in Ukraine, seriously ill patients are left alone with their problem. We could not stand aside and began to help as best we could. And it was decided to establish a charitable foundation. For the development of medicine in Ukraine.
We want Ukrainians to be able to receive high-quality medical care in Ukrainian hospitals.
We dream that Ukrainian doctors would not leave the country, but would have all the conditions to save seriously ill patients here, in Ukraine.
We want every Ukrainian hospital to be of European standard. After all, we believe in our doctors.
The Foundation works to protect mental and physical health in Ukraine through assistance, advocacy, information, education, and development of a network of activists and volunteers, as well as providing access to complex and expensive treatment and resocialization of the individual.
